Widstream set up welcome menus (auto attendants)
Below, we will demonstrate how to set up welcome menus on the Windstream WeConnect UCaaS online portal. Welcome menus play a crucial role in ensuring a professional and efficient phone system for your business. In this step-by-step tutorial, we will guide you through the process, making it easy to configure and customize welcome menus to enhance caller experience and streamline communications with your Windstream UCaaS service.
1. Click on OfficeSuite
2. Click on Auto Attendants
3. Click on Add Auto Attendant
4. Name your welcome menu, (and remember the welcome menu extension in the red circle)
5. Click on Add
Pro tip: if you have a long list of pre-existing menus, you may click Contour+F (Or comand+F on mac) and search the welcome meu extension
7. Select "Set Receptionist Greeting" to upload, record, or use text-to-speech for your greeting.
8. Once your done with your greeting message click on save
10. Click on each prompt dropdown and map where you would like each prompt to rout to.
11. Lastly, click on save
