Net2phone configuring ring groups and call routing

You'll discover various configuration options, enabling you to set up ring groups in numerous ways. Step one would be to login to the online platform by clicking the following link net2phone Portal Login for instructions on how to login for the first time please see this article. How to login to the net2phone portal 

1. Click on "Company"

2. Click on Ring Groups

3. Click on "ADD RING GROUP"

4. Name your and choose an extension for your Ring Group

5. Click on Call Routing

6. Choose if you would like your Ring Group to rout the same all the time (24/7) or create a time based routing

7. Click on Add Tiers

8. Click on Add New Tier

9. Add as many tiers as you'd like, point them to a user/s, and choose the amount of rings for each tier

10. Now add the final destination for your group

This will be be the final destination for your ring group, you may point it to one of the following options. 

Team Member: A team member is an individual user extension in your phone system you can point it to ring or to voicemail. 
Department: Departments are groups established in your system where multiple specific users can be assigned you can point it to ring or to voicemail.
Ring Groups: Ring groups are exactly what your are setting up now :) you may point one ring group to another. 
Welcome Menus: Welcome menus act as virtual assistants, also known as auto attendants. For more information on welcome menus and how to set them up, please visit this link https://support.empiretelecomnj.com/portal/en/kb/articles/net2phone-how-to-set
Special Extension: Special extensions are internal-only extensions generally used for intercom devices, overhead paging, door buzzers, etc.
Call Queues: Call queues are an add-on feature. If you are interested in adding this to your account, please reach out to mac@empiretelecomnj.com.

11. Click on SAVE

You can edit an existing ring group by clicking the pencil icon on your ring group page and following the same steps. If you don't see the pencil icon, you may need to scroll horizontally, or you may not have admin privileges on your account.
