Yealink W series: Register a handset to the DECT base

Pair a new or replacement Yealink cordless handset with your W70B base so it can make and take calls.

Put the base in pairing mode

1Press and hold the button on the W70B base until its registration light starts flashing.
2You now have about 90 seconds to finish on the handset.

Register the handset

1Charge the handset and turn it on. A new handset shows Unregistered!
2Press the Reg soft key, or press OK > Register Handset and pick the base.
3Enter the base PIN when asked. The default is 0000, unless Empire Telecom has changed it.
4Wait for Handset Subscribed on the screen.

Tip: one W70B base takes up to 10 handsets. Compatible handsets include the W73H, W74H, W78H, W56H and W53H.

After you register

Important: the handset still needs a phone line assigned before it can call. Contact Empire Telecom to set up the line: support@empiretelecomnj.com or (732) 363-9898.

Note: to remove an old handset, go to OK > Settings > Registration > De-reg. Handset, enter the PIN and pick the handset.
