How you know you have a message

  • The red power light on the phone flashes slowly (about once a second).
  • A voicemail icon shows in the status bar at the top of the screen.

The light stops flashing once you have listened to all new messages.

Listen to your messages

1Press the MESSAGE key (the envelope key) on the phone.
2The phone calls your voicemail box.
3Enter your voicemail PIN if asked, then follow the voice prompts to play, save or delete messages.

Tip: on most current models (T33, T4U and T5 series) the MESSAGE key sits next to the dial pad. On touchscreen models you can also open voicemail from the screen.

Light stuck on, or forgot your PIN?

Note: your voicemail box lives on Empire Telecom's phone system, not on the phone itself. If the light stays on after you have heard every message, or you need your PIN reset, contact Empire Telecom: support@empiretelecomnj.com or (732) 363-9898.
