Before you start

  • Bluetooth is built into models such as the T54W, T57W, T53W and T48U. Other models need a Yealink Bluetooth USB dongle.
  • Put your headset in pairing mode (check the headset's own instructions).

Turn on Bluetooth

1Press Menu and go to Basic > Bluetooth. On some firmware the path is Menu > Settings > Basic Settings > Bluetooth.
2Set Bluetooth to On and press Save.

Tip: on touchscreen models you can also swipe down from the top of the screen to reach Bluetooth.

Pair the headset

1On the Bluetooth screen, press Scan. Touchscreen phones scan on their own.
2Find your headset in the list of devices.
3Select it and press Connect.

Note: Yealink BH71, BH72 and BH76 headsets can fast-pair. Put the headset in pairing mode within about 1 metre of the phone and accept the pop-up on the home screen.

Once paired, the headset reconnects by itself when you turn it back on. To switch between the handset, speaker and headset, press the HEADSET key.
