RingCentral setting outbound caller ID name
In this article, we will guide you through the process of setting your Caller ID Name (CNAM) in the RingCentral portal. Please note that your Caller ID Name is different from your Caller ID phone number. If you want to change the phone number displayed when you make an outbound call, please refer to this article.
Important Note: Due to new FCC regulations, being flagged as “Spam Likely” is becoming more common, and changing your Caller ID Name may not always resolve this issue. If you’re experiencing spam-like problems,
please refer to this article for further guidance.
1. Click on Phone System
2. Click on the site you'd like to set the caller ID name for
3. Click on Caller ID Name
4. Type the name you'd like people to see when you call them
5. Click on Save and Publish
