Poly: Hold, transfer and conference

Put callers on hold, pass a call to a coworker and join callers into one conference on a Poly VVX or Edge E phone.

Hold and resume

1	During a call, press Hold (on Edge E, highlight the call first).
2	To pick it back up, press Resume.

1	During the call, press Transfer.
2	Dial the number or pick a contact.
3	For a blind transfer, the call goes straight through. For a consultative transfer, wait to speak to the person, then press Transfer again.

Tip: pressing Transfer uses your phone's default type. Press and hold Transfer to choose Blind or Consultative for this one call.

1	Call the first person.
2	Select Conference to start a conference call.
3	Dial the next person and follow the prompts on the screen to bring them in.

Already have one caller on hold and one live? Select the held call and press Join to put everyone on one call.

Note: the number of people you can add depends on your Empire Telecom phone system and model.
