Phone Lines Explained

What are the different types of phone lines available today for on premise phone systems.

Under the phone line category, we have two main branches:

Onsite VoIP:
Alternatively known as "SIP" this configuration places a physical phone system on the premises of the facility. The PBX (Private Branch Exchange) manages internal functions such as extensions and welcome menus. Our VoIP phone lines are routed through a dedicated router connected to the system, facilitating external calls.

Traditional Phone Lines (Less Commonly Used):
Traditional phone lines are becoming less prevalent; however, they still have their applications. This type includes standard phone lines that allow you to make calls and might include features like voicemail. Additionally, these phone lines can be integrated with the same PBX mentioned earlier for added functionality.
