Net2phone how to set email alerts for emergency calls
In this guide, we'll lead you through the process of configuring email alerts for either one or multiple email addresses whenever a 911 call is initiated within your organization. This setup ensures that you're promptly informed about emergencies as they occur.
1. Click on Create
2. Click on Zaps
3. Click on 1. Trigger
4. Click on Webhook
5. Click on dropdown trigger
6. Click on Catch Hook
7. Click on Continue
8. You may skip the "Trigger" step
9. Copy the generated URL
10. Click on highlight
11. Click on API Setup
12. Click on ADD WEBHOOK
13. Select Specific Events
14. Click on Emergency Call
15. Click on Emergency Call
16. Select Entire Company
17. Click on ADD
20. Click on Test trigger
You may need to execute this action once beforehand so that Zapier can detect and access the data. For instance, in our scenario, intentionally leaving a missed call for the user associated with the configured action would facilitate this process.
21. Choose the generated record
22. Click on Continue with selected record
23. Search for Microsoft Outlook and select (this also works for Gmail)
24. Click on dropdown trigger
25. Click on Send Email
26. Click on Continue
28. Click on Choose ( to chose the account where the email will come FROM)
29. Click on + Connect a new account
30. Click on Continue
31. Enter the from email address
32. Enter the emails you would like to receive the alert
33. Enter the email subject
In the dropdown, you can enter data received from the hook. For example, you can input the name of the recipient who called 911.
34. Choose the body formate of the email
35. Enter the email message
In the dropdown, you can enter data received from the hook. For example, you can input the name of the recipient who called 911, time of the call and more.
36. You may choose to add an attachment link
37. Click on Continue
38. Click on Test step to confirm it is working
39. Click on Publish
