Net2phone how set up call forwarding

Below, you'll find a step-by-step guide and video on how to set up call forwarding for your own extension or if you are a system administrator for your entire company.

Net2Phone Portal

1. Click on Company

3. Click on the edit pencil.

If you can't see the edit pencil icon, it might be hidden on the right side, so you may need to scroll horizontally, or you may not have admin privileges on your account

4. Click on Call Forwarding

5. Click the toggle to enable

6. Then choose how you would like the forwarding rule to work

  1. Ring All: Choose this option to have calls ring on your office phone and forward to the destination simultaneously.

  2. No Answer: Calls should only forward if there is no answer.

  3. Failover: If your office phone is not registered or not working, calls should forward to the destination.

  4. Forward Only: Calls should always forward to the destination

8. Click on Add Forwarding Number

9. Enter the external 7-digit phone number / or 3-4 digit extension you would like to forward to

ℹ️ Step 11 is not manditory

11. CHose how the calls should show up on the destination number when being forwarded.

Call Screening: This setting will instruct the system to notify the caller that they are receiving a business call when a call is forwarded to them. It will also provide them with the option to either accept the call or reject it. If rejected, the call will be directed to the business voicemail instead of their personal cellphone voicemail.

Incoming Caller ID: This option allows your company's caller ID to appear when calls are forwarded, as opposed to displaying the caller's personal caller ID
