Mitel 6900: Check voicemail and the message light

How you know you have a message

  • The message light (MWI) on the phone lights up or flashes.
  • A voicemail icon with a number shows on the Home screen. If you have more than 9 new messages, it shows ! instead.

Listen to your messages

1Press the Voicemail key.
2Enter your voicemail PIN if asked.
3Follow the spoken menu to play, save or delete messages.

Note: Empire Telecom sets up your voicemail box. If the Voicemail key does nothing, or you need your PIN reset, contact support@empiretelecomnj.com or (732) 363-9898.

Tip: the spoken menu is also where you record your greeting and change your PIN.
