EmpireTV How to Scan Your TV for Channels

EmpireTV How to Scan Your TV for Channels

If you’re missing channels or setting up your TV for the first time, scanning your TV for channels is a quick and simple solution. Follow the steps below to complete the process and start watching your favorite shows in no time.

1. Find Your Remote:

The toughest step might be locating your remote 😄. Once you have it, you’re ready to begin.

2. Access the TV Menu:

Press the Menu button on your remote to access your TV’s main menu.

Look for the Settings option. Depending on your TV brand, it might also be labeled as Menu or Setup.

3. Navigate to Channel Setup or Broadcast Settings:

In the Settings menu, find Channel Setup or Broadcast Settings.

Look for terms such as Auto-Scan, Auto-Tune, Scan, Tune, or Channels.

4. Select the Signal Source:

If prompted, choose the signal source as ‘Antenna.’ For EmpireTV customers, this will always be the correct option.

If this step doesn’t appear, proceed to the next one.

5. Start Scanning:

Select ‘Start’ or ‘OK’ to begin the channel scanning process.

This may take a few minutes, so sit back and relax while your TV scans for all available channels.

6. View Your Channels:

Once the scan is complete, your TV will display all the channels it found. You’re ready to start watching!
