Note: Empire Telecom normally updates firmware for you, often from the Akuvox cloud. Ask before updating by hand: support@empiretelecomnj.com or (732) 363-9898.

Update from the device's web page

1Download the firmware for your exact model from the Akuvox knowledge center (Firmware & Tool).
2Open the device's web page and sign in.
3Go to System > Basic (on some models System > Upgrade).
4Click Select File, choose the firmware file, then click Upgrade.
5Keep the page open and do not refresh it until the update finishes.

Check it worked

  • Open System > Upgrade and check the version number changed.

Important: do not unplug the device during an update.
